Hi everyone, I am a beginner, I have a very active lifestyle and my career involves lots of lifting and what not. My question is, I am thinking of joining a gym because to tell the truth I want to be huge like the guys you see in the magazines. I got the training scedule of this site. But as I say I am a beginner, So would it be a good idea to try to get big and how long would it take to see results.

Don't get me wrong, you can get big, but from what I hear those guys in the mags are juiced up on steroids... That's how they get "freaky" big.

Well being a beginner myself, I have to say eat a good well balanced diet. I eat 6 times a day, Breakfast, Lunch, pre workout, post workout, supper, and another meal before I go to bed. I've been doing it for about a month now and have gained 15lbs. Eating Healthy is they key to getting Big.

You would see results within weeks, providing you train properly and have a good training/nutrition program such as the ones on here. Don't expect to look like these guys in the magazines within a period of 6 months, as most of them are professional models and have been training most of thier life. There is nothing to stop you from reaching your goals if you give it enough time.
