My weekend was a bust. I was away on business for Thurs and Friday and that just sent my whole schedule into the toilet. I also had several beer on Saturday. (4 or so) And I normally don't drink.
So, it's back at it on Monday. I'm heading to the gym after work. Hope everyone had a better weekend than I did. |

Why is that out of town stuff so damaging? That's one I'll never figure out. Closed my play, got a new bed, slept really well, and worked out Sunday. My only problems were my weekly visit to Super Wally World. People can be sooooo rude and inconsiderate. It all culminated with the checkout person dumping my "cold bags" on the belt without looking at what was in them. EGGS and other fragile items! I almost screamed. She just seemed nonchalant. Ugh.

Hi everyone! Sounds like you all were very busy over the weekend! I didn't have much going on.
I worked very hard on my eating habits, though I have to come out and say I ate three darn cookies and a small piece of cake, which infuriated me. I did dump a pop I opened after three sips and pushed a fatty breakfast away that is tradition on Sundays, but tradition is gonna have to change! I ate very well other than the downfalls above, I watched my sugars, carbs and such and had 6 small meals a day. I even worked out on Saturday, too, which I usually do not work out on the weekends as I am active with so many other chores and projects. I am feeling better after a few rough days of a much lesser dose of sugar and carbs - withdrawls I suppose,. I got up and ate oatmeal with cinnamon and Splendor (thanks to the wonderful posts) and did my weight workout and will do cardio later in the day. I read the posts again on cardio and have decided with all the weight I have to lose I will try to do the weights in the a.m. and cardio later as I've found it is the cardio that I can't seem to get into as much in the a.m. and with doing both I hope to increase my weight loss as I have enough fat to do both!! Have a great week, I sure am grateful for all of you and finding this site, I have been posting a lot as it has helped with my lonliness and it is better than eating!!!! -------------- Veda MISERY IS OPTIONAL HAVE A GREAT DAY! |

WAnglais1 - don't you hate people like that. They are one of my biggest pet peeves. I always want to tell them "if you hate your job so much that you have such a crappy attitude - find a new one!" I hope you got a new case of eggs!
Sounds like we all had a bad weekend. I'm curious about everyone else's routine. I have a 4 day workout schedule that looks like this: Day 1: legs, abs Day 2: arms, shoulders, cardio Day 3: back, chest, cardio Day 4: cardio, abs Day 5: rest Repeat from day 1. I do weights in the morning before work and cardio after work. My weights are basically as the ft program. My cardio is a combo of HIIT on the bike and I'm doing a 12 week (now 13 week because I wasn't so good last week) program to go from walking to running. It's at www.prevention.com if anyone else is interested. What does everyone else's schedule look like. |

Did legs yesterday afterwork and the lunges were tough! This morning was arms and shoulders and I'll go after work to do cardio.

Today I am doing yesterdays workout of shoulders and biceps. Went to graduation last night, then had to go shopping afterwards, and didn't get home until 11:30pm. I know it is sooo bad for me, but right now this big 1 liter of Dr. Pepper is just about my best friend in the whole world!!

It's the only thing you can actually eat at my work!!:laugh: Someone please instant ship me a bowl of brown rice with some terriyaki chicken and broccoli ok???

Ok, so this last week stunk, didnt get my workout in half the days and because of all the company and running around I wound up eating LOTS of VERY BAD food :( What makes me the saddest though is that because of all that, I only lost a total of half an inch <when you add up what I lost and subtract what I gained> So now I am starting this week <my workout weeks run Wed till Tue> with a new determination not to let this happen again! I AM going to do my workout and I AM going to stick to my diet regardless of who is where eating what :dumbbell::big_smile::dumbbell:
Oh and Cristal I'm "FedEx"ing you some Brown Rice and Chicken. . . or at least I would if I could!!! -------------- Love me as I am . . . Let me worry about how I look! |

I am having a hard time eating healthy on weekends and weeknights. My wife is about 5 months pregnant and we usually just make what is quick and easy. This isn't really an excuse but don't they say that when your wife is pregnant you go through the same stuff she does(or something like that) I am proud to say though when I am at work nothing but healthy food which is very hard considering my co-workers bring in doughnuts once a week and talk about when they eat bisquets and gravy (MY FAV!!)

livers20...man I hate that. I work with the eatin-est bunch of people I have ever known! Every Friday there's tons of donuts, muffins, juices, on and on...cake at least once a week for someone's birthday. They look at me silly when I say, "No, thanks. If I had a slice of cake, I would wrestle you to the ground for the rest of it." Or, "Sorry, I'll pass. Cake icing is like crack to me. Once I start, can't stop." Why can't anyone bring in skinless chicken, baked sweet potatoes and salads?
