My poor mom. She's about the youngest looking 60 year old in the world, but she seems old this week.

At a local Loblaws some punk stole her purse. Being the "take no crap" woman that she is, she chased him down. Unfortunately, she fell and pulled her hamstring.

It is all badly bruised and she is having considerable trouble walking. The Physiotherapist says her bruise is caused by taking advil too often. Does anyone have any experience with these type of things?

Thanks.

I hope they caught that jerk-off. I have heard of this happening while taking advil or other pain releivers. These typically thin your blood. I would have her take some more Vitamin C and see if maybe her iron levels aren't to low either. When you are forced to exert yourself on a moments notice like that, the chance of inury will always be there, (Unfortunatley, you are not given time to warmup then chase that bad guy:))Hopefully, the pain does not last to long.
