Looking to see if anyone out there has any idea or knows of some guidance on training for a 1.5 mile run for the best time:laugh:
I've got the new USAF PFT coming up in a few months and I want to score the best time possible but I am a slow runner.:(
I need to know how to speed up my run. Interval training seems to be the answer but how much and what to do? I don't know-Looking for a little help:surprised:
Just an idea for you, my hubby is in the AF and has had to do that run recently. He trained for it by alternating running 2-3 miles a day and his 1.5 miles, he said that after bout 2 weeks he saw a steady improvement in his time for the 1.5 miles. FYI he just told me to add that there's no trick to running faster, you just have to do it and keep practicing. GL with your test!!!
