Im 44 and need help devising a workout routine. I have access to a gym and the machines (do not like free weights). I am confused as to whether to do cardio/weight training on the same day or split them? Any help is appreciated! Thanks so much!
I think it's up to you. I can say personally, I do cardio on my off days because then I can only focus on one thing. So I'll do Strength > Cardio > Strength etc. Since you don't have to be at the gym to do cardio, it can be like a jog, walk at the park or something. Also if you do cardio + strength the same day doesn't it affect one or the other training?
