recently, my right knee has been givng me problems. it hurts really badly if i keep it bent, so i have to keep it straight at all times. sometimes i wake up and my knee will be horrific pain. if i keep it straight though and stretched out it feels fine and no pain. the pain seems to be coming from a tendon or somethign right above my knee cap. if anyone has any insight to what it may be, please let me know. thanks

gotta go have it checked out......there could be damage in one of your knee ligaments......

apply heat and compress the knee...wrap it tightly.....maybe vary between ice/heat.....if you can handle...maybe try to do body squats against the wall to strenthen the knee....if you feel considerable pain then stop and don't do it...

but I would first go get it checked out, get X-ray...etc....

I was doing squats and I went done and didn't catch myself in time and tore two ligments. I am currently wearing a knee brace because of the pain. If someone could give me advice on how to strenthin my knee with out the pain let me know.
