A couple days ago, I was practicing kicking air with a quick retraction immediately after. I now have pain in what appears to be the tendons of my leg, whenever I perform a similar movement.

This happened before, way back, and I'm wondering if this happens because my body is simply not used to the quick, antagonistic retraction in those kicks.

After the pain subsides, should I continue to practice this? Will the tendons get used to it?
