I'm so upset I can't help you. I worked as a floor instructor for Bally's Jack Lalanne over ten years ago and we were trained to take new members body fat count with a formula. But it was so long ago I forgot the exact formula. I remember mearsuring people and then punching in some numbers with a calculator. Sorry. Do you belong to a gym? You could ask one of the instructors or trainers there if they know it and can maybe fill you in. If you know anyone who goes to the gym, I would think someone there would know the formula if they asked. Just a thought.
Good Luck!

Quoting from michelle9510:
I have used several internet sources to calculate my percent of body fat. I just took the caliper readings and plugged the numbers into the site and clicked on calculate. I was just wondering how they got the percent that they get. I mean, is there a standard formula? I noticed that each one asks for different readings and I always get a slightly different number. I'm interested in doing the formula to see what I get (if there is a formula).
Thanks!
