I had a great workout yesterday, I've been doing well in fact. Yesterday I got up early went to the gym, did my strength training, my treadmill.....then later in the afternoon, my husband said let's go to the pool....so I did 5 laps. For me this is great considering I haven't been in a pool in 5 years. So, I get out of the pool....and walk to the chaise lounge, I sit on the left side, I swing my right leg over, place my foot down on the pavement......my foot slides.....now mind you, I'm sitting.....the entire thigh to the knee is in pain....I'm the only person alive that could get a sports injury on a chaise lounger! So, I've been icing it....and taking ibuprofen....I guess this is the correct thing to do?

Just the thing to do right now. Should pass in a few days. Just delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). Be patient.
