I started running about 6 months ago, I run about 2-3 miles approx 4 times a week. The joint for my big toe in my right foot aches the whole time running, and then when I am done it really hurts. I notice the pain more when I try to lift my big toe up, I can feel it across the top of my foot, it feels bruised to the touch, but no bruise is visible. Does this have anything to do with my shins? Any suggestions? The pain just started about 3 weeks ago.
