This diet plan was given to me by someone. It is called the Air Force Diet. I want to know if it is healthy or not. I know you are supposed to eat 6 small meals a day, but would this benefit??
3 day diet:
day 1
breakfast:1/2 grapefruit, 1 pc toast, 1TBS peanut butter.
lunch: 1/2C tuna, 1pc toast
dinner: 3oz meat, 1C string beans, 1/2C beets, 1C vanilla ice cream
day 2
breakfast: 1 egg, 1pc toast, 1/2 banana
lunch: 5 saltine crackers, 1C cottage cheese
dinner: 2 hot dogs, 1C broccoli, 1/2C carrots, 1/2 banana, 1/2C vanilla ice cream
day 3
breakfast: 5 saltine crackers, 1 slice cheddar cheese, 1 small apple
lunch: 1 hard boiled egg, 1pc toast
dinner: 1C tuna, 1C beets, 1C cauliflower, 1/2 banana, 1/2C vanilla ice cream.
You cannot change or vary anything on this diet. You can only use salt and pepper for seasoning. You can drink black coffee or black tea with meals. At all other times it is to be water.
You are supposed to follow this plan for 3 days then eat sensibly for 4 days. It says you will lose 10 lbs in a week. I know that is not healthy,,,also that more than likely it is water weight.
I have done this diet before. I was considering adding it in here and there to my diet, that is why I want to know if it is actually healthy or not.
Thanks in advance.

This looks like the diets my mom used to crash on when I was a kid...she was an overweight women then, and is today,it's a crash diet, you may lose 10 lbs,but you'll gain it right back.

This isn't a healthy way to trim down,in my opinion.

Agree, this is a starvation diet..no where near enough calories. Add your workout on top of this and it is a recipe for disaster. It wouldn't surprise me if you lost 10lbs in the first week...Bizzare and unhealthy diet IMO!!!

The sad thing is, my husbands Aunt actually got this diet off of a hospitals website. She followed it and sure enough lost a ton of weight, then gained it all right back.
