I did 4 sets on the flyer, from 40 to 70kg, then i went to a other exercise, with 4 sets of it, from 20 to 40 kg, 16 to 8 reps, in the end i did bench presses, with 3 sets of 2-3 reps, 40-50 kg, i couldnt lift more..
the other guys, that are thiner than me, they have around 80kg, i have 92 kg, im preety defined...the go and lift 4 times 50-70kg...8-2 reps. is that normal, will i be able to lift more than they?why is that so?iom, 187/92kg and preety defined...so tell me...i have long arms, and my biceps mesurements is 37cm. I think i have to week triceps, i workout for about 4 weeks in the gym, i did 2 years at home, with free weights

I will tell you one thing I am 6'3 and guys that are like 5'9 can lift way more than me on excercises like teh Bench Press,Leg Press,Squats etc all because they have shorter legs and arms this is completely normal because us as tall people have to make the weight travel that much more for a full repitition. Also some guys in the gym cheat alot and never do a full rep or like on the bench press they bounce the weight always keep your reps controlled. Hope thats what you were reffering to

Well, the only thing I can say is, don't be so consumed over what others in the gym are lifting or look like. There is only one person that has to sleep at night knowing what they did and left in that gym. No one can ever know what it's like for another person to lift, simply because they are not that person. My advice, find what works and feels good for you, eat right, work hard, and your body will take care of the rest.

I agree with Richard if you consume your time worrynig about lifting as much as others you will get disappointed and probably lose interest in your weight training. Their are guys smaller than me in size that can lift more than me in certain excercises but it makes no differance to me. To boost my confidence I can always do my dumbell shrugs where I can lift 130lbs in each hand whereas those smaller guys are lucky to be doing 80lbs. Just find something like that where it might help you.

Lol, you could always tie a 30 on to a 100...or I guess you could cough up a 1000 dollars for a membership at a really nice gym.

Well I am 6'3 and 235lbs so I am not worried about them egtting dumbells that was as much as me LOL. When I do shrugs I do 2 excercies one with the heavy dumbells and also one with a straight bar. Traps are important to me makes me look alot bigger.
