Hi!

I do three sessions per week of weight training (body part splitted) and I add at the end of each of my weight training session a 25mn cardio workout. I also do 1hour cardio session (no weight training on that day) per week. Is this too much? not enough?
I just started this program (2 weeks ago). Advantages: I don't feel "dead" and am happy about the cardio split and variety. But my concerns are: is this going to work?
My goal is to tone up, shape. I am looking for loosing abit of fat too but not too much (height: 5 ft 1 in., weight: 105 pounds).
Who can tell me if I exercise correctly or not?
Thanks!

One thing you might try is do your cardio before you lift. Over a week maybe you'll notice a difference. If your adding muscle, your resting metabolism will get higher. So depending on how drastic you want to go losing the weight, you may be fine doing a little cardio (dont tire yourself) then your weight training. Try that and see if your happy, if not then go from there. -snow
p.s. yes the programs work, as long as you follow them closely and be sure to eat right! It may seem like a lot of food, but youll need it for the muscle!

I think its a bit 2 much compared 2 ur goal.U said u want 2 lose a little bit of fat.For that cardio training for 3-4 days for 25 min is enough.B'cos u also lose fat during ur weright training session.

please remember that your diet is probably more important than your training..

Thanks to all for your great advice!
Yes, I also believe that nutrition will be the key part here.. Hard while working, sitting in meetings, etc..
But another challenge :-)
