Hey guys,
I've been working out for a while and my chest is well toned toward the outside and the bottom. However, toward the middle is sort of slopes down. I'm guessing this is due to lack of exercise in this part. Could anyone recommend any good exercises that target the inner chest?
What I usually do is flat bench press, declined, and machine fly (or cable). I avoid inclined because it puts too much stress on my shoulders.
Thanks for ur advice!

that's weird I usually get opposite, flat bench puts more stress on my shoulders than incline...are you sure you're doing it properly?

You can try to do Close Grip Bench Press...hits inner chest pretty well for me

you can also do pullovers with a DB

Try Incline DB flyes(not presses)...they really develop your chest...you can also work around your ROM limitations...

oh wait, the best way is ofcourse...DIPS...with bodyweight and if that's too easy than strap a DB or a plate to you while you do it...lean forward when you do it to hit more chest...do it up and down to hit less chest and more triceps...either way you'll feel it in the inner chest....

Thanks, I'll try those. For flys I usually hold at the top of the movement.

Bent arm dumbbell flys lying supine on a bench, all so do dumbbell flys on a decline bench or a Incline bench all works the inner and outer chest,or when you come to a full complete fly, cross the dumbbells a few inches so your wrists pass each other,a good technique to use once and a while.

Grab a couple of dumbells, hold them together and lie down on a flat bench. Have the dumbells start out on your chest, then while still keeping them together press them out. This works the inner chest really well and also hits the triceps.

If your wanting the "cut/ crease" down the middle of your chest.........thats more about body fat than training.
