I'm going to be a freshman in high school. We just started football last week and measured our speed in 40s. My best time was a 4.75, but i'd like to get it down to aorund a 4.5. I was wondering how long it would take to do that and what running drills or lifts i should do.

For lifts you would want to do squats and seated leg press.
for yourdrills try doing intervals. Try for 3 minutes to strart then work up to 5 then 8 etc. This will help bring up the speed and distance.

theres a kind of sled you can buy that you can drag behind you, an dput weights on it, to give you restistance, or you could drag a tire if you wanted to to. Theres also a parachute kinda thing you can get to.

go to JumpUsa.com. Don't buy the Jumpsoles, but it has a lot of other speed and agility stuff
