I'll do you the favor I wish someone did me when I was 14.

Bench is not very important in the scheme of things. If you want to trully become strong, athletic, etc. Start doing deadlifts, squats, standing overhead presses, weighted chin ups and dips, bent over rows, cleans, snatches, etc. These things matter. Bench is overemphasized.

Does it matter what you bench? If you bench more than you did before then that's all that matters. Stop looking around for approval to others. If you dont already start doing a solid 2-4 day compound(big lift) lifting. Push/Pull/Squat or 5x5.

Don't worry about what everyone else is doing. Just concentrate on improving yourself!!
