Hi,

My name is William 28 years old and was diagnosed with crohn's disease 8 months ago. I was 245Lbs and now with my disease I'm 178Lbs any slowly losing. For people that don't know about crohn's disease it is a disease that causes my small intestines to be inflamed which makes it hard to digest cetin meals. Everyone with crohn's is different and what one person might be able to eat another might not. I'm still learning about it but know that I have a mild case of it. I have always worked out (more power lifting) the past ten years and now can't take the chance of using the little energy I have to pump weights. Please give any feed back on liquid supplements that might help me gain or even maintain my weight. I could have two meals a day that consist of carbs and protein, but would like to intake more liquid meals because it would really cause me no stomach pains. Any suggestments would greatly be appreciated
Thank You,
William Q

First and foremost I understand that your disease is tough to handle, my brother HAD it and I think you know what happens in worst case scenarios if you have brushed up on your research. I don't wish it on my worst enemies. I hope you are doing what you have to take care of yourself BUT I would consult your doctor and a nutritionist first before asking anyone on this site. We don't know the severity of your illness (though I've seen its effects first hand) so please consult your doctor about this. good luck
