Thanks to asimmer, queen of all things in my world, I managed to take in 1485 calories today! I've struggled for 6 weeks to get over 1100 and I finally made it. To my regular squeaky clean diet, I added a low carb slimfast shake (2g net) and a low carb (2g net) slimfast MR. No, not in one sitting. It took me from 5am this morning until 7:30 this evening get all my calories. 41%protein, 37%fat, 23%carbs. This still needs some tweaking, but I had a great day and wanted to share. I also want to thank asimmer for her constant support. Amy recommended myoplex but it was more than I could budget on a regular basis so I chose the slimfast. Now everybody pray that I don't gain weight or I'm going back to 800 calories a day.

anni - good job! You may gain weight, but it will be muscle, don't be afraid.
You can do this! Don't ever go back to 800 calories a day - you know where that road leads - follow a new path and don't be scared when you enter unknown territory.
Here for support as needed,
Amy

anni.......way to go kiddo. You picked a good role model. Keep eating and lifting. Amy is always right on in things fitness and eating. Keep up the slim fast unless you start looking like Tommy Lasorta.

Thanks Charlie, you are such a comfort to me. Isn't Amy the best? I would follow her anywhere, well, except it would probably scare her if I did. I'm really proud of myself, accomplishing this goal feels really good.

You know the score. It's hell and back! So having read the posts here I see a very brave woman. Talking about these things, even in annonimity is hard going. But you've done it and you are an inspiration to us all. We learn from people who achieve. My goals are different from yours, but I can get my strength to achieve from learning from you!
Asimmer is right about muscle/weight/food stuff- ALWAYS!
Best regards and thank you for the positive vibe you give!
