i feel like im about to starve after i work out and i usually eat a big meal afterwards. i have very little fat and i have a high metabolisim. is it ok to eat alot right after i work out. ive cut way back on my bread intake and eat meat and fruit.
also i usually drink a 24 oz beer after work every day and was wondering what neg effect it might have with the creatine and protien shakes i drink in the mornings.
i just finished day four and i can already tell the diff in my energy level and im not nearly as sore as on day two.
i spend 1 hour on weights and 15 min on cardio as hard as i can go and for about 2 or 3 hrs after i feel almost high it is so cool. I can't believe I'm almost 40 and never have done this before no telling what kind of shape i would be in if i had started in my prime.
thanks

Would it be a good guess that you haven't eaten anything long before your workout? :)

Yep - that's why I asked if you had eaten. Browse through the nutrition forum and you'll probably find that you'll double and then some what you're eating now. Multiple meals, smaller portions. Your original post mentioned starving which is exactly what you're doing. :)

YM....you're starving for half a day then you fill up your body with crap in the form of beer....
your diet definitely sucks and I bet it's limiting your results.....
you should be eating 3 main meals and about 2-5 smaller snacks daily....shake, breakfast, handful of almonds, lunch, can of yogurt, dinner, cottage cheese.....something along the lines of this....so right around 6-7 total meals...
also do yourself a favor and skip the beer....it's not affecting your creatine supplementation directly...although it does dehydrate your body and rob you of allowing you the chance to eat healthier calories....

i think i can handle that. the beer isn't that important to me since i only drink one per night (even though its one big one) i'll look into to nutrition forum and come up with a game plan. thanks guys
