I'm curious how to go about losing fat, not weight. I'm happy with my current results but my last STUBBORN fat is giving me hell. I'm doing Cardio sessions 30mins (5 times a week) and weight lifting 2-3hrs (3 times a week). I thought about increasing my Cardio to 1hr or actually go back to running 20 mins on the Treadmill. I'm taking Xenadrine EFX to aid in the fat loss process, however, I'm thinking about taking Lean System 7 which suppose to target "problem areas" to help release fats during excercise. Any feedback is appreciated.

It normally boils down to diet but believe it or not I'd recommend cutting back on what you're doing. It's possible your body has adjusted to the point that it's not about to let go of your body fat because of the workout schedule you're on. Try and play with your split and cut your workout time to around an hour but up the intensity and check out some HIT types of training. There's more to it than that but more isn't necessarily better when it comes to training as your metabolism literally shuts down to conserve some reserves.

I think the catalyst of this problem is caloric intake, ie., carbos. From a physics standpoint, you're taking in more than you're burning. Problem with more cardio is your body will often rob your muscles of energy it needs if you're not taking enough protein, etc. Are you eating a lot of carbos atlboi? I know I personally have to watch what I take in for carbos or guess what, it goes right to my mid-section. Friggen A!

I think diet is the culprit here however, I'm no expert. Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback. This is my typical diet:
I'm thinking I take an average of 80-100g of carbs a day. I try to eat before 8:00pm but this is not always the case. Is this sufficent? I believe I read somewhere where you are suppose to take in 2-3g of carbs per lb of body weight.

I may stagger my workout session
m - cardio (20 mins run) 6am
light barbell workout 30 to 45mins (6pm)

t- cardio (20min run) 6am
weights (max 1hr)

w - off

thur - same as monday
fri - see tuesday
sat - off
sun - off

I'm switching my fat burners too from Xendarine EFX to Lean System 7. I will let you guys know the results. Any additional feedback is much appreciated.
