The whole idea of your body absorbing a certain amount of protein is such an old school beleif. Not only is protein needed to rebuild muscle, it is used to help your hair, skin, and nails regrow/rebuild. Protein will be shuttled to your bones, teeth, eyes, heart and just about every other organ in your body. And yes, it is better to eat frequent smaller meals throughout the day to keep your metabolism stable and your muscles quenched. Hope this helps, good luck.
