Hi everyone, Just wondering how long of a layoff would be optimal for recovery and healing after a mass building program? I heard from someone that I should take two weeks off and rest. does this sound right? Should my intake of food continue at the same level I was consuming during the workout program or should I switch to a maintenance diet right away? Also should I completely rest during the weeks off or should I do some real light training until I start my cutting phase? thanks in advance - bblue
Whatever rest you feel is necessary. Continue with your same eating regiment, as you are just giving your body a rest, joints, muscles nerves, etc. Take the week and just rest, sleep well.
