Hi , i need some advice on a good workout. I go to the gym five days a week(mon-friday)followed by 2 days of rest. If you find this workout not very good, can u please suggest an alternative 5 day workout.

Mon-Chest, cardio
Tues-back
wed-shoulders, cardio
thurs-legs
fri- arms, cardio
sat and sun- rest
I also do abs 3 times a week and cardio lasts for 45min.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

From what I can see, you are overworking your arms Mon - Wed. I suggest having a 4-day training split with 3 days off:

Mon - Chest/Back
Tues - Legs
Wed - Shoulders/forearms
Thurs - Rest
Fri - Arms/calves
Sat/Sun - Rest

Keep your cardio schedule but make sure you don't do them right before weight training. You can work on abs on Tues, Thurs and Sat and/or Sun.

One other suggestion: why not sign up for an ft program and let it design your workout exercises with schedule?

In a WAY this workout is good, but after about 3-4 weeks of doing it your body will feel reall tired. I would recomend this routine, if you want to try.
MON-CHEST, BICEPS, CALVES
TUES-ABS, CARDIO
WED-THIGHS, SHOULDERS
THURS-ABS, CARDIO
FRI-BACK, TRICEPS, TRAPS
SAT-ABS, CARDIO
SUN-REST
This would be good becuase you will give your body rest to recover from you weght training, which leads to more muscle growth. And also burn fat at the same time with your cardio days. This is a recomendation only, but this program has helps my clients lose fat and build muscle with a good nutrition program. Good luck.
