How hvy the weights?

I have my new workout regime, but I don't know how heavy my weights should be. Is there a formula or something I should know about?

Filling out your profile will help us give you a better answer...but as for weights used you have to experiment within the repitition guide...if you go above the top number to light, below it's to heavy...your reps are your guide not your absolute...and as far as formula's im against those they work good but one can become stronger than a formula and formulas just don't account for "off days" so id steer clear...hopefully some of this makes sense and helps...good luck

That is great reading, and I agree with almost everything. What he says about hourglas shapes avoiding all resistance type exercises and heavy weights raises an eyebrow though.
