your jumping ability...so by vertical...whether standing or running...it's how high u can jump off 1 or 2 feet....40 inch vertical for example is ability to jump 40 inches off the floor...generally while running...unless it's 40 inch standing vert.... u cna search for mroe info if it touched off your curiosity...
