How can i get rid of the fat abs after having kids? I have lost over twenty pounds in the past but the abs are still the same. I have also gained all of that weight back and cannot get rid of it. I have been running a mile everyday and then walking a mile and the workout that i get from freetrainers, but I just can't seem to loose it. Any suggestions?
I am not a professional (hmm, I always preface an answer with this) but I have been reading alot on here. A couple things are common answers to meeting your fitness goals.
1. A good workout plan. Check out the 12 week abdominal program here.
2. Cardio. How long does it take you to walk and run the 2 miles? Most recommendations here seem to be between 30 and 45 minutes of cardio. Also look into HIIT (high impact intensity training), it combines both walking and jogging varying the pace for a more intense cardio in less time!!
3. Your DIET! Eat the right foods. Talk to some of the knowledgable people here about a diet that will help your fitness routine reach the best impact for shaping up and slimming down.
4. YOUR DIET! Everyone reemphasizes that!!
5. Stick with it and don't get discouraged. The people here are great at helping you with your commitments and encourage you with every step. My wife was a bit upset she started gaining the first couple of days, but now, she has already lost the weight she gained as well as 3 extra pounds (only been 5 actual days of working out for her!!) She says the exercise dont hurt as much anymore and she can feel them working! STICK WITH IT!!!
