Hello,

I'm new to this site and so far I have gathered a lot of information about HIIT from FitBuddy. I've kinda come across two ways of doing HIIT and I was wondering which way will burn the most fat? or maybe it doesn't matter which one I use...I don't know.

The first way of doing HIIT is to alternate between a really high pace and a mediocre pace, alternating every 30-60 seconds. The second way it has been described is to progress from a mediocre level (lets say you would start at 5 if your using a scale of 1 to 10.) Then after the first minute you go up to 6, then after that minute you go up to 7 and so forth until you HIIT your highest point which would be 10, then you start the process over again from 6.

So far I've been doing the second version of HIIT and I find it fun and challenging. However, I just started to try the first version and I don't really like it because for one, you look like an idiot drastically changing your pace every minute and secondly I just find it uncomfortable. I would rather build up on my levels and then repeat the process (second version.) So with that being said I'm looking for experienced persons who have tried HIIT. Please let me know which way works for you and let me know if you think the difference between the two programs will be a big deal when it comes to boosting my metabolism. Thank-You in Advance.
