Ok,so now that I know that it's a bad idea to workout on an empty stomach and that a HIIT workout can really rev up metabolism and fat burning, I am wondering that if I eat carbs (i.e.-a sandwich or cereal) an hour or so before working out, then will a HIIT program done in about 20-30 minutes tap into the stored fat or will I have to cardio longer?(I do cardio after weight training).
