Hello,
I wanted to say hi and that you guys may be the support that I need. I'm getting married in two years and I need to lose about 60 lbs. so please HELP. What is a effective easy diet to start with? Any ideas?

First I would like to congratulate you on having a sensible goal, and coming to us in plenty of time.

I would suggest one of two things for your diet - either fill in your details in the nutritional profile, and it will give you a guideline of calories
OR
take however many calories you eat to maintain your weight, and subtract 250.

There is a thread in the "specific diets and nutrition" board called "grocery list for a bodybuilder" which is actually a list of healthy foods that everyone can follow.


what are you doing for exercise?
studies show that it is the people who exercise who keep the weight off once they have lost it.
