Hey all, I guess I kind of felt motivated to write this because I cannot believe the progress I made. I've been doing a split routine for all body parts since mid-december and I cannot believe the progress my body has made. Right now im just where I want to be, a lean 200-205 lbs. with muscle. I'm a 21 yr old college male who kind of lived an unhealthy lifestyle up until December (going out drinking all the time, eating late at night, wendys wendys wendys). I was never in bad shape, I always had a solid build but my exterior was pretty much covered with flab. I never looked fat but when I saw myself in the mirror I was angry. I sucked it up and made a change. I got myself a gym membership and developed a new attitude towards working out. Cannot believe how addicting the gym is. I go to the gym 5-6 days a week after school or work. I'm pulling very good weight in my exercises (back lats chest arms forearms etc....you name the body part i'm probably doing it). The gym is so addicting now. I hit my lats so hard lately that im able to bang out at least 8 chin ups! I never thought it was possible. I just thought I would share this story with you. Mentally and physically I am the sharpest I have ever been. I truly cannot wait to stroll on the beach this summer. So I say to anyone out there that has doubts about working out heres my advice: IT TAKES TIME! Believe me....there were times that I got so frustrated that I almost took a week off here and there. I think fitness is so important to your well-being. I'm transferring to a college in upstate (geting my associates this may) this fall and I hope my progress can carry over to over there as well. Thank you for your time.

I suffer from impatience as well. The best thing you can do is not think about it......believe me you'll wake up one morning and say 'wow'. I guarantee it. Keep it up everyone!

I have been doing great also, but have been very frustrated because I am not seeing ANY difference in my body. My trainer sees a lot of difference in my strength. BUT, I was driving to work the other day and a song came on and I started tapping my leg to the music and my legs are not as fat, actually they are really getting muscular!!! I finally see something!!!

Great job! I've been having real success since I started with ft, too. Don't be too nervous about taking a week off, though. I actually accidentally took off 3, sick, vacation, sick again. I lost some weight, but came back at the same strength...I didn't get weaker. Sometimes your body will let you know it needs a rest, so listen. Keep up the good work!

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.

Hey,
well dun! I totally agree that it does take time to achieve your goals but once you achieve them, it really does pay off!

Upto the age of 16 I was very obese weighing 18 - 19 stones! Im 17 now and weigh 11 and a half (75kg)! IF you are motivated, you can do nething! I went to the gym everyday for 2 hours and had a proper diet and after 6 months I had lost 4 stones or so! I kept going and then when I just turned 17 I was weighing about 12 stones! Now I am starting to lose that last bit of flab and doing weight training!

My advice to anyone out there is to keep going and dont worry if it takes time! Make the gym a part of your life and above all enjoy it! :)

Hey, good job for your accomplishments, I also wanted to testify that the program works, as I used it to prepare for the spring baseball season. The program definately improved my strength, and my bat control was unbelievable. As a sophmore on the varsity baseball team, I have the best batting average. This is the result of the weight training program from freetrainers.com THANKS ALOT
