I already posted a topic telling you about my problem but in this one i'm going to be more specific with what my deal is, i have been doing some cardio for a week now mainly the treadmill and some legs & bun exercises at home to tone up, getting a trainer at the gym is too expensive for me to afford so i need some tips on how i can get an intense full body workout to lose fat and really tone up. I'm not a beginner in working out so you can just throw any intense workout at me and i will go with it. My biggest problem area is my hips because that's where i carry the most fat and my legs. It's hard for me to where the clothes i want because of those 2 areas so please please help me!!! I don't want to exercise my butt all the way to the point where i don't have one! so just to let you know. I'm highly movitated and determined to get in shape but i just need the right workout plan to get the right results i'm desperately yearning for. Please anybody with the right answer reply!!! Thanks!

hey! I fully understand your situation! I understand that you are not a beginner, however, you have only been doing cardio for one week. Keep it up!!! It usually takes a few weeks before you start to notice results. Also, how is your diet? Try reducing a couple hundred calories per day. Unfortunately, from what I have herd in the past, is that some people genetically have large legs/ thighs, which seems so unfair. :( On the positive side, you can tone up, loose some fat and make improvements!!!!
As far as weight training/exercises....hummm I have a hard time explaining in words what to do:laugh: So if anyone can help lilbee99 out with this one it would be great!
Keep up the cardio and watch your diet, your off to a great start! Good Luck!

Cardio alone cannot help you tone your legs and hips/butt,these are large muscle groups that need to be trained. You cant change the actual size of your hips, but you can reduce the fat that is on them.
You have to eat right and do the right exercises, that are targeted for these areas. Some I do recommend to start with
Lunges
Squats
Lying Side Leg raises.
If you go to Health Resources at the top of this page you will find a series of exercises that can help.As well you can fill out a Fitness Plan that will help you set up a plan that works for you

If only there was a magical way to fight genetics.
It is so unfair, when you see someone who has a great body, but doesnt workout often, and eats almost whatever they want and will never gain a pound!!!!
Some women can work forever to strength train, and do cardio, and stick to an excellent diet, but always end up wtih a curvy figure. I remember even back in the days when i was in highschool, when i was 115lbs, I was still unsatisfied with my hips and thighs. I guess we all just have to learn to love our bodies, and do the best we can to take care of them!
