I have read a bunch of past message boards and didnt find what i was looking for.I have changed my diet. I exercise regularly.I do stretch!! I do weight training (even lifting heavy)but the fat on my theighs wont budge.I am not looking for a miracle....i have lost some inches but the fat just wants to hang around. If i was to do more cardio would that help? Does anyone know of any videos or something that would help me get rid of this problem.Like i said i am not looking for a miracle but i am looking for results by swim suit season. Any suggestions would be helpful.Thanking you all in advance

You can't spot reduce. You have to adjust the diet and exercise. It seems mean and you can hit me but you can't spot reduce. Stay the coarse . Your body doesn't like giving up its store of fat. Don't quit . Do your diet homework. Lift heavy. You will win.

Thats what I use. I do hiit for 20 min x 3 per week and 2x 25 minute straight rides. It is a very slow frustrating process, particularly the last few BF %. Its why we are all here to lend shoulders to cry on. LOL

There is a good book by Covert Bailey called "Fit or Fat" that you can check out at your local library that is great at explaining how the body burns fat.Whether you want to gain or lose weight, diet is the number 1 thing. In losing fat cardio is # 2. Lots of cardio at low intensity using big muscle groups for 30-45 min.I've heard eliptical trainers are best for cardio because they don't jar your joints and they use all the muscles of the lower body as well as the stabilizer muscles of your core.
