Hi everyone I have read some very interesting and helpful things on the boards here. I just started my workout today and must admit I didn't realize how weak I am. My question is I am looking to shed some extra pounds and just get cut. Any suggestions on how someone who is new to the weigh training game can achieve this goal. I am willing to work hard I just don't want to concentrate my efforts in the wrong place. Thank you in advance to everyone. I am really enjoying this site.

EAF, they key of fat loss is your diet. you need to consumme the right amount of calories of "the right food".
you can check BB1 grocery list for this: there all you need. remember that in order to lose fat and build muscle, you need to consumme at least 1-1.5 g of protein per pound of body weight daily, and also consume "good fats". The cabrs are also an issue, and a very important one. IT IS NOT BY STOP CONSUMMING CABRS THAT YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT, IT IS BY CHOOSING THE RIGHT ONES.

i suggest you to read this forum as much as you can, you can learn a lot of thing in here. also try the FTbuddy to look for some specific themes you want to learn about.

cheers,
