hi my names justin, im 16 and ill be 17 next month and i weight about 143lbs and im about 5'10ft tall. im trying to put on weight fast cause i need to gain almost 30lbs in about a month or 2 and like i know i need to eat alot and consume alot of carbs and calories. ive also been looking at this weight gainers shake from GNC. and no i dont want all of this to be fat and i know i have to work out and i would like to have nice tight abs and shit so i made up a workout plan and ill post it and maybe you can tell me if im on the right track or what needs to change.

heres the workout plan since html isnt aloud on the site.

Monday- 200 sit ups
100 push ups
lift weights for 20mins
drink 3 protien shakes and eat a lot.

Tuesday- 200 sit ups
100 push ups
drink 3 protien shakes and eat a lot.

Wednesday- 200 sit ups
100 push ups
lift weights for 20mins
drink 3 protien shakes and eat a lot.

Thursday- 200 sit ups
100 push ups
drink 3 protien shakes and eat a lot.

Friday- 200 sit ups
100 push ups
lift weights for 20mins
drink 3 protien shakes and eat a lot.

Saturday- 200 sit ups
100 push ups
drink 3 protien shakes and eat a lot.

Sunday- 200 sit ups
100 push ups
lift weights for 20mins
drink 3 protien shakes and eat a lot.

You can't gain like that, that's to fast unless it is fat and at that you'll have to be a real damn pig to do it!

I don't even think steriods will get you 30lbs in 1 month!

You wana gain and do it healthy try 30 pounds in a year or year and a half maybe 2 if you want it to be soild muscle and not aot of fat!

You can be a total pig and gain fat and mucsle fast but to get looking like you want you'll have to lose alot of the muscle put on just to cut back down!

Be smart and do it right and take the time to do so and it will be good soild muscle on a lean body!

Nothing good comes from fast and easy!

Anyhow Justin you'll need to hold on to your britches and let time take it's corse to get the body you want!

Look on the brite side, it sounds like you never gained before or lifted so you will get som real fast gains for the 1st 3 months or so then it will taper off and then you'll have to be patient!

eh ive lifted weights in the past and like my metabilism is extremely fast. like ive put on i beleive 55lbs since august of 04 or 05 whenever i was hospitalized. ive never been to serious with lifting weights but im wanting to get there now and i have my own weight bench, i went out and got it a week ago, was a bday present from my aunt so im looking to put on weight and turn myself into having a nice body with clean cut abs. if you have any workout suggestions let me know pls. i beleive i would rather have a nice body than gain tons of weight.

essentially you are not doing any real lifting...those sit ups and push ups are just a form of cardio...endless amounts of sit ups and push ups wont do a damn thing...

If anything, get yourself a power rack with safety pins....i saw one on ebay for around 180....use it to do just about any exercise worth doing...you can use your bench inside it for bench press variations...

start doing

Squats
Deadlifts
Military/Push Presses
Chin Ups/Pull Ups
Goodmornings
Lunges
Bent Over Rows
Bench Presses
etc

for example:

Mon:

Squats
Chin Ups
Dips

Wed:

Standing Military Presses
Bent Over Rows
Bench Press

Fri:

Deadlifts
Heavy Sit Ups(use extra weight beyond if you can do more than given reps)
Heavy Russian Twists(use extra weight beyond if you can do more than given reps)

do 3 sets of 8 of each exercise....do couple light warm up sets for each exercise ....
