HELP!!!!!!

I AM 25 YRS OLD, 5'2, 223 LBS, AND A MOTHER OF FOUR. I STARTED OUT AT 227 SIX MONTHS AGO WHEN I JOINED A GYM AND WENT DOWN TO 216. EVEN AFTER LOSING THE WEIGHT I WAS STILL THE SAME PANT SIZE AS WHEN I STARTED. I WOULD GO 5 DAYS A WEEK AND BECAUSE OF THAT I GOT DISCOURAGED AND NOW ONLY GO MAYBE 3 DAYS A WEEK. SINCE I HAVE FOUR KIDS IT SEEMS LIKE I AM ALWAYS IN THE KITCHEN COOKING, AND WHEN I COOK I PICK AT THE FOOD FOR TASTING, AND I'VE NOTICED THAT I'VE GAINED WEIGHT AGAIN. I DONT EAT BIG PORTIONS LIKE I USED TO BUT IM STILL GAINING. I AM A BEGINNER, WHO DOESNT REALLY KNOW WHAT I AM DOING, AS FAR AS WEIGHT LOSS ROUTINES GOES, AND I MOST DEFINITELY CANNOT AFFORD A PERSONAL TRAINER, BUT I REALLY NEED HELP TO GET ON THE RIGHT TRACK. I FEEL LIKE I AM WASTING MY TIME BECAUSE I DONT KNOW WHAT I AM DOING. NOT LOSING THE WEIGHT IS VERY DISCOURAGING. I AM AT THE POINT WHERE I JUST WANT TO QUIT, I WILL APPRECIATE ANY HELP OR ADVISE ANYONE CAN GIVE WILL HELP ME SOO MUCH. PLEASE I NEED ANY HELP TO GET ENCOURAGE AND A GOOD ROUTINE TO GET ME BACK INTO IT.

Well congrats on finding the time to go with 4 kids! LOL I have 2 and find it hard. ANyway, weight loss is a combonation of a few things...one is diet and another is cardio, as well as weight training. One mistake I see a lot of women make is being afraid of weight training and only doing insane amounts of cardio. The best way to loose weight is to weight train at least 3 times a week. Cardio is good, do about 3 times a week. One thing I would suggest to do is throw your scale out! When you lift weights, eat right somethng remarkable will happen. You will gain muscle and loose body fat. The result is that while youmay lose some weight, youmight instead lose body fat and over all size and either stay the same weight and or gain som weight. Do not be alarmed! You will not all of a sudden look like a man or a she hulk! LOL no, that takes a lot of training and usually drugs. I hope this helps!
