Haven't done it since high school(football)...I think I did 275lbs at 17 years old. Without proper form, this exercise can be a recipe for disaster. I'm not directing that at you DHURT...anyone who can clean 300 is doing something right. lol

Thanks man but 275 is an impressive max, most guys in my school have trouble hitting 200!...I was going to ask...I have just started training muscle groups once a week and I love cleans(they are my favorite lift) and I still want to keep them on my routine, which muscle groups should I do cleans with??? My weight training instructor is a stickler for good form, as am I....but I definitely know what you mean, I have seen some guys that come in there and clean so sloppy...it's definitely a recipe for success.

I worked in cleans with shoulders or back, depdnding on how I felt. Cleans are not any easy exercise, but once you've got that form, you can start putting more weight on the bar and go through the roof.

i keep mine with shoulders, and depending on if i trying to get stronger in my clean or somthing else depends on wher ei place them.....if i working on cleans i do them 1st, or if i just do them to do them i do them at the end of my routine......but i liek to switch in about with them between, power, hang, olympic, clean and press u name it i expierement with it all al thoguh i had crappy form dur to the fact i never droped under the weight, it went from floor to my shoulders with out droping at all lol. weighlifting coach got on to me cause i wouldn't, of coarse he was pissed that a high school cheerleader cleaned more than his football players
as most knwo on here i don't have a partner to train with so i can't max
btu my reps 8 8 5 5 3 usucally 155x8, 195x 8, 215x5, 235x5 255x3........no i just woprk on speed and my techingue cause with out droping i can get 290 up to my chest i just can't "catch" it so i been working on that
