would taking green tea pills before a workout provide any caffiene, or should i take caffeine along with green tea pills?

If you are not adverse to caffine, add some. Around 200 mg. caffine is a good dose. If you have the funds, adding in yohimbe can be very beneficial, about 1/2 hr. before your workout.

Try .2 mg/kg yohime + 200 mg caffeine 30-60 minutes before your workout.
