Hey guys. I just got back from the store and I think I've got everything I need to get serious.
I picked up a 2lb tub of Precision Whey Protien so that I can start eating more smaller meals and still get all my protien. Does anyone have any comments on this particular brand?
I also picked up an 800 gram container of L-Glutamine (Free Form)... Any comments on this, or advice as to how to take it? The container says 5 grams each before and after the workout.
Got a case of Gatorade, as I had a buddy tell me it was more benificial than Powerade, which is what I had been drinking before. Comments?
Picked up a case of bonless skinless chicken breasts, turkey burgers (I checked the contents...looks good to me), canned tuna, canned chicken breast, brown rice, oatmeal and flax seeds. This gives me room for a fair bit of variety, although I'm pretty sure oatmeal with flax seeds mixed in (tastes pretty decent) will be my staple breakfast. Again, comments?
For my Carbs intake, I've also got apples and bananas, as these are some of the few fruits I actually like. Are there any others that are really good?
My gym routine is the 4 days a week doing the routine that FT has given me, as well as my variation on the 12-week abs probgram (I replaced seated twists with the side-to-side crunches..touch my right elbow to my left knee, alternate. Can't think of what its called...) with a good warmup and 25-30 minutes of cardio immediately after. The amount of cardio will be increasing as I become a better runner.
Any and all comments are welcome, advice doubly so.
