I have just started out on my exercise program with my shoulders and back. The next day, my forearms right before the elbow is hurting when i move it. Its hard for me to straighten my arms and to move them in regular movements. I was wondering if i pulled my muscle. I have stopped workn out till it doesnt hurt anymore. Should i put ice on them if that will help the pain heal a litle better?

hey theroo, if you just started working out your soreness is normal. I don't think you pulled a muscle. Just DOMS(Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) DON"T stop working out, this will actually help get rid of the soreness by working out sore muscles you get the blood flowing which in turn carries out the lactic acid giving you the soreness. Don't put ice in it, just ride it out and enjoy the soreness, i love getting sore. But getting sore does not dictate a good or bad workout. Good Luck
