I just got a fitness ball and I decided I wanted to start using it - and my pilates videos - in my exercise program. I will be doing lots of repetitions with the fitness ball unitl my muscles start to fatigue. Is there any advantage/disadvantage to using a fitness ball rather than weights? Should I be doing weights some days and the fitness ball other days? Anyone have good results using these things?
Thanks for the help :)

Why not combine the two. The fitness ball(I am assuming the swiss the ball...the big one??) works great for core muscle strength. It is an excellent piece of equipment, and works especially well for abs.

The stability ball not only hits the targeted muscle bou also a slew of stabilizer muscles as well. FT has a stability ball workout. I don't know if you have to be pro or not. You can look. It is great to include it with your weight workout.
