Hi everyone. Here's my question. Let's say that on Monday I worked my chest, shoulders and triceps, then on Tuesday I worked my legs and calves and on Wednesday I worked my back, biceps and foreman. Would that be ok or overtraining. Thanks for the help

It depends on how many exercises and the number of sets/reps for each. If your workout is taking about 45minutes-1:15 minutes or so, and you are resting the rest of the week, I wouldn't think so. However, like working out, overtraining is pretty individualized. There are some signs of overtraining that you should look out for regardless of what you do. Things such as loss of weight, low motivation, lack of energy, lack of appetite. Someone more knowledgeable might want to chime in though. I feel that many people are overtraining and don't realize it. I was for several months.

Well maybe I should have one in more detail. I want to do that same routine Monday through Friday.

Army , like agamble and neov say, everybody is different. Most people get better results with a rest day. Why don't you hit the weights and abs 3 days and do cardio on the 3 or 4 off days??
