I played college and pro ball in arena league, offensive lineman, my body weight has significantly increased in the last six months. I am not happy with my appearance , but can't seem to lose weight when I try. I would like to get lean and healthy and actually see the muscles that I spent years building but never saw can someone give me some advice on a simple diet and workout plan.

Not wanting to echo many previous posts...
1) Complete your profile: the knowledgable folk on this board will share with you if they percieve your sincerity.
2) Search the FIT Buddy and youl be amazed whats already been discussed.
3) Review the resources on the board, plentiful advice on both diet and exercise.

Welcome to FT, ScottBuchanan! Make sure you are eating enough calories, exercise with a good weight lifting program like the one here on FT and add some cardio if you like. The nutritional forum here has some great ideas, too. The trick is to implement good eating with good exercise.

Good luck with your goals!
