I have a question, now i run about 4 to five miles a day and work out 3 times a week doing about 26-30 different wight lifting exercises a week in those three work outs. Now i was just wondering i drink energy drinks the monster low carb energy drinks because i dont drink soda and because it only has 3 grams of sugar. Although i cant seem to get rid of my obliques but above and below my obliques are fine. Yet i somehow think that the energy drinks are somehow a factor in this, am i correct in assuming this or do i just need to keep working. Lastly i barley eat any sugar at all. Just wondering what i should do as far as losing the obliqes to stop drinking the energy drinks or is it somthing else i need to change.

Are you doing weighted ab work? Muscles only grow when weight training tears them down, and just maintaining muslce burns calories. Since you run I'm guessing you have a diet high in carbs and eat at least o.8 grams of protein per pound of body weight, so I think you might be getting enough energy from whole foods as it is. I don't know how usefull these energy drinks are since they're usually just full of a couple vitamins I already get from whole foods and supplements. Unless you're downing a box a day, I doubt the drinks are a major factor in your body fat stores.
