anyone else have ectomorphic features on this board? It can be really frustrating at times. I've also considered suicide because i wasn't content with my body. My whole life i grew up wanting to be a professional wrestler and being ectomorphic that can be hard goal to make it a reality. I read on a site that most wrestlers are either meso or endos and that it is supposely a big man's sport. Well i don't see it that way. I think wrestling has revolutionized and its because of the smaller guys such as myself. But still alot of the smaller guys in wrestling either have meso or endo body types. I'm still not giving up on my dream. I workout four times a week and have three off days that i use to take time for resting muscles. I've seen a little improvement since but i have a long way to go. I still seem to get really frustrated at times and sometimes start to think negatively about myself. I use to lash out on people with well defined muscular bodies but now i want to be like that. I just want to know if anyone thinks an ectomorphic person like myself could make it in a sport like professional wrestling. Also does anyone know any ectos who are wrestlers? Thanks

An ectomorph....the consensus is that many of them consider themselves hard gainers. In essence, this is not true, there is no such thing as a "hard gainer", just someone with a poorly designed diet. You will have to consume more calories in good proportions than the other bodytypes, that is all. It is all about your diet. You can get as big as you want to.

i have a buddy, he is like 5'11 used to look like a monkey, absolutely no muscle(now he is cut), come three years later and a lot of work he is part of the UPW. its a lot of committment, if you want to you can do it. look at mick foley, no definition at all, its your personality and dependent upon how hard you will push yourself. the business is harsh though, good luck broham
