HI,

I have been doing Weight Watchers since September, after having my 3rd baby(previously I was a LT member before becoming pregnant) I gained 50+ pounds during the pregnancy and have lost about 43 pounds. I have been doing Tae bo 3-5 times per week (which I really enjoy) but want to add strength training because I am not sure the Tae Bo isn't enough (and maybe Pilates) but I am not sure how to do it. I am 5'6" and currently weigh 161 and would like to get down to 140 but more importantly into my size 8's I was wearing prior to my pregnancy. What do you recommend??

Thanks,
Dawn

Nice work on the family growth! Without a word of a lie, the director of the Montreal region of ww was on a radio show today here in Montreal. Needless to say, I was listening. I don't do the ww thing but very interested in healthy living etc.
To answer your question Tae boe is good cardio as long as your hr is getting up and you are working up a good sweat.
This lady recomended to alot of callers that weight training would indeed speed up reaching the goals you have.
It is no secret that weight traing and good nutrition go together. It speeds up the metabolism and gets you some muscle which burns calories even while you sleep. What more can we ask for?
Good Luck, and keep us posted on your success.
