Hey guys(and gals),
I have always learned to always not do arms on the same day as other muscle groups because arms are the smaller muscles therefore could use up the energy needed for the bigger muscle groups. I also learned that we shouldn't do arms until all of our other groups are done for that week first. Is all this true or was I lied to in ninth grade. :)
Thanks for those that reply,
Chris

Chris, charlie is correct, you can do bis and tris the same day. I work out that way and as for me it has given me nice results...
Look for posts by BigAndrew, he explains the "back to back" concept and I think he works out the same way...
Hope this helps

Biceps and triceps are good to do together, but i wouldn't do triceps before bench press......tri's are a secondary muscle group and if fatigued you might not get as a good workout..............I do suggest to do tris 1st in the sets, when the biceps fills with blood it makes it harder to straightn out

I have read somthing new, just to think about i'm not saying its true or not but here goes. Acording to a magizine, there was a study done, that big compond movments such as squats greatly increase testasteron level in most studies. so in therory you should do a arm excercise or two on big compond lift days, due to the fact of more testesterone levels. just a thought
