This will be my first cutting cycle, and I would really love your feedbacks and comments.

Day 1 - Legs

Squats(4sets *5reps), Stiff Legged deadlifts(4sets*5),
Leg extension(1sets*5 and 2dropsets) and finish it off with few calve exercises.

Day 2- Chests

Bench Press(5*5), Incline dumbell Press(5*5), flies(5*5)

Day 3- Back

Pull-ups, seated row, dumbell row and finish it off with few forearm exercises.

Day 4- Shoulder

Dumbell Press, Front/side dumbell raise and finish it off with few trap exercises

Day 5 - Arms (planning to do supersets)

Incline dumbell/skull crusher, cable rope pulldown/ cable preacher curl. (5sets*5reps for all of them)

Day 6/7 - rest

I am gonna be switching up every two weeks, for ex: I will do deadlifts, lat pulldown, decline bench, 21's.....
and people tells me that I shouldn't exceed more than 30minutes. Is that right?

My diet is gonna be around 2200cal(250g of Protein, 200g Carbs, and 50g of Fat)

I weigh 192lbs@5'8

thanks!

your plans seem reasonable.....I would do some type of deadlifts during your back workout as your first exercise.....

try to rest 30-45 sec between sets....less if you can handle it....tho be careful....this can lead to overtraining....

take a multivitamin+fish oil supplement.....on top of your increased protein intake if you have not already....to make up any nutritional deficiencies and to spare your muscles while you're cutting down on calories....

good luckkk...

good point anddrew...

from his stats it seems like he's on the right track....just remember to keep your carbs....in the complex category....yams, sweet potatoes, yams, lentils, brown rice....only time you should eat simple carbs like potatoes, pasta, white rice, etc is right after workout with protein(1:2 ratio of proteion to carbs-like 30g protein-60g carbs)

you should probably also do cardio....30-45 minutes at a moderate/mod high intensity.....or interval training....like 2-3 days a week....on top of your diet....

thanks for the inputs!

Yeah I am planning to do HIIT 3*a week and play some basketball or go rollerblading twice a week.

I finally came up with my diet plan for the next couple of weeks....253g of carbs/210g of proteins/50g of fat.
How much calories should i cut per day...I am allowed 2900cal a day but my new diet is about 2200cal....
is that too much or too little?
thanks.
