Supplements can be a great aid with your health and fitness goals. Combined with the proper exercise and nutritional plan they can be quite effective.

Im looking to get some of this (in the uk) i see it available at a few different places, is one kind better than another or is it all just a sales gimmick?

The reason id like to try it is that i have problems with my energy levels, i eat a fairly healthy diet and exercise albeit not a lot but i think i should have at least an average level of fitness, ive always had problems gaining lean muscle and losin fat whatever i eat and exercise.

In the past i tried camphibolic and really seemed to benefit from it (the 1st batch i bought anyways, the second seemed to have less of an effect but when i tried the remainder of my 1st batch the energy came back so i put it down to a change in the recipe) i seem to recall that Tribulus Terrestris was the active ingredient in that so thought id give it another try.

any advice is appreciated (i fully realise i may just be buying "snake oil")

Trib if any quality is still dose dependent, making it at best cost prohibitive. That is, you need to buy a 'quality' brand, and probably double or even triple the dose on the bottle, to see any real or even perceived real effects. Even then on research I have done with folks, unless you are totally deficient, or 'older', you will not see much in the way of results.

was i right in thinking that the main ingredient in camphibolic was tribulus? if so then i definately benefitted from it.
thanks for the info, im going to get a testosterone test done when i get my cholesterol checked next week to see if its low (i have a suspicion though it was checked last year when i was sent to a specialist about my liver), looking at symptoms for low test i seem to tick every box. i hope im off the mark as i dont fancy having to get testosterone injections. as it is now though im 37 but feel about 80!

If you are going to a typical Endo, you probably will not get the results you desire. They do not normally check for free test, unbound, as compared to overall test levels, which may show good, but actually bound and unusable. Anti-aging doctors are the way to go here. There is wayyyyy more involved that needs to be checked, but will not go too deeply into that here.

ok thanks, just found a thread where you listed what should be checked
Total Testosterone
Bioavailable Testosterone (AKA ?Free and Loosely Bound?)
Free Testosterone (if Bioavailable T is unavailable)
SHBG
DHT
Estradiol (specify ?ultrasensitive? assay for males)
LH
FSH
Prolactin
Cortisol
Thyroid Panel
CBC
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
Lipid Profile
PSA (if over 40)
IGF-1 (if HGH therapy is being considered)

ill take the list with me and hopefully my doc will do the tests for me. i had some tests last year due to me always feeling fatigued but they found nothing wrong with me (apart from an already known liver problem called "gilberts syndrome" which is quite common apparently)
ill try anything if itll make me feel like i am not ready for my coffin! im beginning to feel like a hypochondriac!
