Hello kleczn16,

Personally I wouldn't recommend any. You on the other hand should look through them and find which one you can do for "life." You see that is the key to making it work because if you can't do it for life then you are just wasting your time. Once you reach goal and quit all your hard work will have been for nothing and you will regain all the weight you lost within a matter of weeks/months.

For me Body For Life is perfect. I have been applying the principles of the diet into my life since Apr. '02 I have successfully finished 3 challenges the last one ending just yesterday, and I have had great results each time. I am now ready for a new weight routine and just started my FT 4 day split today. I will stick with BFL eating though because I find it is the perfect style diet for myself, in other words something I can do for "life."

Good luck in finding something that works for YOU!

I couldn't agree more! The concept of "diets" in general is simply wrong - your body needs food! Any attempts at starving yourself through ANY means are just going to result in your metabolism bottoming out, and your body going into a mode where it stores fat, rather than getting rid of it.

The trick is to find a nutrition plan that matches your lifestyle and activity level, while putting yourself in a slight caloric deficit for bodyfat loss. In addition to that, you must get some resistance exercise (weight training), and cardiovascular exercise - both of those will help to boost your metabolism and burn bodyfat. I wrote a brief article on why diets don't work, and you're welcome to check it out if you like:
