Stats: Female, 200lbs, 5ft4 inches.
Goal: Weight Loss through cardio and strength training

I am in the process of trying to devise a meal plan. From research and readings, I have concluded that I need to have approximate 6 meals totaling 2000 and 2200 calories, with 204g Protein, 204g Carbs and 33g of fat. (This could be incorrect.)

I wanted to know if everyone pretty much eats the same thing weekly, with some deviation.

Also, if you can offer any of your suggested meal plans/ideas, it would be appreciated.

I eat the same thing Monday through Friday, for the most part. It is easier this way to make everything up on Sunday and pack it for the week. On the weekends my schedule is different so my eating is too. I do try to have a different breakfast each day though. This morning I had Lite n Fit yougurt with a cup of Kashi Go Lean Krunch mixed in. Then I have everyday: for my 2nd meal/snack 3oz of tuna and an apple. Meal 3 is chicken breast, brown rice or sweet potato and broccoli. Snack 4 is pre-workout and on the run so I have a bar with at least 15g of protein. 5 is a post-workout shake. Dinner is usually a large salad of mixed greens and veggies with more chicken breast, feta cheese, slivered almonds or walnuts and olive oil/lemon dressing. If I have a late night snack I try to stick w/ cottage cheese or string cheese. My daily's are 2000, 175-190, 200-250, and 50.

Thanks for the information. That makes alot of sense. I think I am going to try to plan for the same thing. It will not only be easier for eating, but it will be easier for shopping as well. I am just concerned about my tongue getting bored. I guess if I do, I can subsitute with a similar items.

I was bored at first, but lately I look forward to them. I've also noticed that if I think I want pizza, etc. it doesn't taste nearly as good as I think it will. That alone keeps me from eating too much of it, also.
